Dancing with God

Sometimes I find how God uses everday things to teach me more about himself, recently my fiance and I were at dance lessons. and it strikes me how in dancing there has to be a leader and a follower. in my fiances’s and my dancing. I have to be the leader and she the follower and when things aren't done the way the dance is supposed to go then things get thrown out of whack, like if my fiance tried to lead the same way I was supposed to, or I decided to just kind of let things go slack while we were dancing. things dont go well.Its the same way in our walk with God. now I’m not saying God goes slack in what He does. far from it. God is good and is in control. However when we resist and try to lead the dance on our own instead of letting God. the dance doesn’t go the way they were supposed to. to dance with God we need to be in complete submission to God. now this is also not meant as a mock on dancing with my fiance, far from it. I love dancing with her :) it just came to mind when we first started learning, we’re doing much better now in our dancing by the way ;)
